Wood pellets are made of agricultural and forestry wastes, like corn stalk, rice straw, wheat bran, grass, sawdust and so on. You can use hard objects to hit the particles and see if they break. The length of wood pellets is not a key factor, but excessively long pellets may cause the burner to be damaged.
